Just like in the first trailer of the game, you will play through each quest with the four of you. As each character gains unique abilities and their own voice and personality, you will forever be stuck with the character you choose at the beginning of the game. There will still be hairdressers, tailors and tattoo artists to spruce up your character, but whoever chooses the tough male archer at the start of the game can’t possibly turn that into a cute female mage. Where in the previous Fable games you could still decide how thick the left or right nostril of your hero (s) should be, these types of options will disappear to a certain level in the next game from the fantasy saga. According to developer Lionhead, this choice was made consciously to keep the co-op up to four players on the right track, both for the good guys and the bad guy.
